I started Taggart Controller Group because I kept seeing the same problem.

Small and mid-size businesses doing real revenue -- $1M, $5M, $15M -- trying to scale without the financial infrastructure to support it. They had a bookkeeper keeping the lights on and a CPA showing up once a year. Nobody in between was looking at their true costs, building reporting that actually drove decisions, or giving ownership the financial visibility they needed to grow with confidence.

A full-time controller or staff accountant is the obvious answer. It's also a $100K+ commitment that most businesses at that stage aren't ready for -- and often don't actually need.

I bring 15 years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience across manufacturing, construction, CPG, aerospace, oil and gas, and cannabis. I've worked inside complex operations, built cost accounting frameworks from scratch, and produced the kind of financial reporting that helps leadership teams make real decisions -- not just year-end tax packages.
